What songs make the best kits?
Dry, punchy material: drum breaks, solo percussion sections, intros before the mix thickens. Dense walls of sound produce slices with too much bleed to use as one-shots — that's where the studio's stem separation changes the game.
Are the slices trimmed and cleaned?
Yes — each slice starts at a zero crossing with a 3 ms fade-in and ends with a 30 ms fade-out, the classic one-shot treatment. They drop into any sampler without clicks.
